Construction noise in Leacock classrooms

City of Montreal construction in the area of the Leacock building is causing noise disruptions in some classes. The University has addressed this matter with the City, but there are few options available to alleviate the issue. McGill is working to relocate classes where possible and has moved most mid-term exams. On a positive note, the City has agreed to a moratorium on construction during the final exam period.

Polling @ McGill: Upgrade to TurningPoint Cloud

Upgrade to TurningPoint Cloud: Web-based Polling at McGill

Teaching and Learning Services is excited to announce that McGill will be making Turning Point Cloud available to all students and instructors as of the Fall 2016 semester. Turning Point Cloud is a web-based polling (student response) system that allows students to respond to questions from a personal device (smartphone, tablet, laptop) rather than a physical handheld clicker. Please note that physical clickers will no longer be supported for in-class uses.
