Chalcedony Minerals

NEW! The Rock On mineral identification kit is now available for loan. It includes 5 boxes containing a total of 18 mineral specimens, plus hand lenses, magnets, scratch plates, and mineral ID cards. Available for use by classroom teachers who want to show their students how to identify minerals using colour, crystal shape, and hardness. FEE:  (including GST and QST taxes)=  $114.98 for a 4 week loan of the kit. Includes delivery, pick-up and a brief in class introduction. Book the Minerals Rock! identification kit by emailing science [dot] outreach [at] mcgill [dot] ca or calling 514-398-4094.
