Learn about Sciences in France and in Quebec. Magazines for 8-10 years old are now available for free at the Redpath Museum and online here (French only).


Sunday tours

Every Sunday between 1pm and 5pm
Dawson Gallery (second floor)

Dinoman (aka Bruno Paul Stenson) will introduce you to the Museum’s resident dinosaurs, including the gentle giant Triceratops horridus, the bloodthirsty Gorgosaurus, and the fleet-footed Dromaeosaurus.

Also on Sunday afternoons, volunteers as well as student guides from the Redpath Museum Society are there to present and discuss the highlights of the collections.

FREE with admission to Museum. No reservation necessary.


Documentary films

Sundays at 3pm

See the world through the eyes of the most passionate filmmakers on the planet. Programming may change without notice due to circumstances beyond our control.

Missed a movie? Many of the films we screen are available from the McGill Library, either on DVD or through the Kanopy streaming service.


Sunday Discovery Workshops

WINTER 2018

Two workshop sessions each Sunday:

11h30 - 12h30 in English AND 13h - 14h in French

$8/child, all other family members are FREE

Registration is online only using this form. All requests for registration must be received no later than Thursday before the Sunday workshop selected. No new request will be treated on Friday and Saturday.

Your registration is complete once you receive a confirmation email with the details of your registration.

The Tree of Life game

Every Sunday 12pm – 3pm
Auditorium

Led by animator Ranjeet Bachonee, this activity teaches students about common ancestry, ancestral and derived traits, mutations, extinctions and non-linear evolution. To help illustrate these concepts, players will create their own species and trace their evolutionary paths along a game board. Developed at the WOW lab in McGill's Faculty of Education.
