Group visits to the Museum

Guided tours for groups

Guided tours aim to foster curiosity and passion for life sciences and to increase visitors' understanding of world cultures and our shared heritage.

ContentAfter a general introduction to the Museum, the guide will help you explore two themes of your choice: Dinosaurs and FossilsRocks and MineralsAnimal Biodiversity, Ancient Egypt and Mummies, and/or Early Hominids and Human Evolution. Please choose your preferred themes when completing the online reservation form.

Duration: one (1) hour. All guided tour reservations include a second hour for personal exploration.

Audience: available for all ages, from preschool to college level students and adults.

Cost: $7/student or minimum $100 for a group of -15 participants. Taxes included. FREE for all accompanying adults.

Maximum group size: 50 people.


Self-guided visits for groups

Content: Explore natural history and world cultures exhibits with your students. Check out our Exhibits page for more details of what you will find inside the Museum. For suggestions on how to structure your visit, including free scavenger hunts, follow the link to the Teachers' Resources.

Duration: each group is given a two (2) hour time slot.

Audience: Groups of all ages are welcome at the Museum. Especially with younger students, please keep our visitor guidelines in mind when determining the number of accompanying adults. 

Cost: $4/student. Post-secondary institutions (CÉGEP and universities): $2/student. Taxes included. FREE for accompanying adults.

Maximum group size: 50 people.
