Iain Benson is Executive Director of the Centre for Cultural Renewal. He was called to the British Columbia Bar in 1985, and for several years was senior counsel to the BC Labour Relations Board. He has been involved in labour, employment, human rights, administrative and constitutional law at all levels of court, including the Supreme Court of Canada, and has appeared before various Royal Commissions and Senate committees. He has a keen interest in medical and legal ethics. Mr Benson presently restricts his legal practice to constitutional and human rights decisions that have connections to the freedom of conscience and religion.

Douglas Farrow, who came to McGill in 1998 from King's College London, writes and lectures in theology, ethics and intellectual history. He is a consulting editor of the International Journal of Systematic Theology and a co-editor of Ashgate's Great Theologians series. He has been a regular contributor to Neue Zeitschrift für Systematische Theologie und Religionsphilosophie and to Die Religion in Geschichte und Gegenwart (4th ed.). His recent book, Ascension and Ecclesia, explores several significant features of the Christian world view. Professor Farrow has also published articles on social issues in the National Post and The Globe and Mail.
