As the Principal and Vice-Chancellor, Suzanne Fortier is the academic head and chief executive officer of McGill University. She is appointed by, and a member of, the Board of Governors. Professor Fortier oversees all aspects of McGill, from the University’s day-to-day operations to setting strategic directions in education, research and global initiatives.
Professor Fortier began her five-year term as McGill’s 17th Principal and Vice-Chancellor on September 5th, 2013.
