  April 2017. Data Analyst and Project Manager: Assist with project management and data cleaning and analysis of projects based in sub-Saharan Africa. Most of the work will focus on the impact of affordable and higher quality day care services on women’s employment and child health in a slum area of Nairobi, Kenya. This position will provide assistance with data analysis including data management, documentation, and coding as well as basic statistical analyses. They will assist with project management including drafting reports, organizing and taking minutes for monthly conference calls, and coordinating research among team members. April 2017. Research Program Manager Position: School of Dietetics and Human Nutrition/Centre for Indigenous Peoples’ Nutrition and Environment (CINE). The Program Manager will play a senior role in managing the research project at McGill University with a focus on supporting the implementation and monitoring of research and program activities. The Research Manager will plan, direct, coordinate, implement, and monitor the short- and long-term initiatives for the project: Building capacity for sustainable livelihoods and health through public-private linkages in agriculture and health systems. Professor Jill Baumgartner is currently looking for independent, creative and motivated Masters and PhD students to work on several exciting research projects on environment and global health. See her website HERE. She is open to advising students with various backgrounds who have an interest in environmental health, exposure science and/or epidemiology.
