Overview of Research at the Montreal Children's Hospital of the MUHC

The Research Institute at the Montreal Children's Hospital was formally established in 1966 as a partnership between McGill University and the hospital in order to promote and facilitate excellence in child health research.

The department of Pediatrics consists of several Divisions as listed below. There are are several Pediatric Programs which are listed under the Division of General Pediatrics.

Mission: Through excellence and leadership to optimize the health & wellbeing of infants, children, and youth within the context of their families.

Vision: Our mission will be accomplished through the following practices:

The Continuing Health Professional Education (CHPE) and the Montreal Children's Hospital (MUHC) offer a wide variety of courses, conferences and seminars geared towards helping physicians and health professionals remain up-to-date on medical procedures.
