Which program is right for you?

Undergraduate Programs

Our Bachelor of Science in Nursing - BSc(N) - is the one for you if you:

  • are graduating with a CEGEP diploma in sciences;
  • are graduating with a high school diploma from outside of Quebec;
  • are enrolled in a university program;
  • qualify as a Mature Student.

If you are a holder of a bachelor degree in Arts or Science, you may want to consider entry into the Master of Science (Applied) in Nursing – Direct-Entry concentration (see link below).

Our Bachelor of Nursing (Integrated) - BNI (On Campus or Online modalities) - is the one for you if you:

  • graduated with the 180.A0 CEGEP diploma in Nursing

Graduate Programs

Our Master of Science (Applied) - Nursing [formerly Direct-Entry] is the one for you if you:

  • hold a bachelor's degree in Arts or Science, comparable to the respective McGill undergraduate degree, and have no previous nursing preparation;
  • and have successfully completed the Qualifying Year.

Our Master of Science (Applied) - Advanced Nursing [formerly Nurse Bachelor Entry] is the one for you if you are:

  • a licensed Nurse holding a Bachelor of Nursing or a Bachelor of Science (Nursing) degree comparable to the respective McGill undergraduate degree.

Our Graduate Certificate; Theory in Neonatology or Theory in Primary Care is the one for you if you are:

  • a Quebec-licensed nurse holding a master's degree in Nursing, with clinical practice experience in the field of interest (neonatology or primary care), who's degree is not equivalent to our MSc(A) in Nursing - [Nurse Practitioner concentration].

Our Graduate Diploma in Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or in Primary Care Nurse Practitioner is the one for you if you are

  • a graduate of our MSc(A) in Nursing - [Nurse Practitioner concentration] program;
  • have successfully completed the Graduate Certificate; Theory in Neonatology or Theory in Primary Care.

Our Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Nursing is the one for you if you are:

  • a licensed nurse with a master's degree in Nursing;
  • a licensed nurse with a bachelor's degree in nursing and a master's in another field;
  • a licensed nurse with a bachelor's degree in nursing and interested in fast-tracking to doctoral studies.
