MSc(A) Direct-Entry: Course of Study

MSc(A) – Nursing Direct-Entry program requirements

The Direct-Entry program is a three-year program of study consisting of a qualifying year and two years of study at the master’s level. The following table maps the course of study that is clinically oriented and directed toward Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) preparation in family health. The total program weight is 96 credits.

Courses with numbers ending D1 and D2 are taught in two consecutive terms (most commonly Fall and Winter). Students register for the D1 (Fall) and the system automatically registers students for the D2 (Winter) component. No credit will be given unless both components (D1 and D2) are successfully completed in consecutive terms.
