How does the idea of a scholarship programme in Canada sound? Mr. Inal Rajaram meets Anu George, the third Indian to be eligible for this scholarship. For those of us who haven't heard of the Sauve Scholars Programme, it is a scholarship for young leaders from around the globe who want to change the world. Established in 2003, the programme originates from the Jeanne Sauve Youth Foundation, created in 1991 by the late Jeanne Sauve, Canada's first woman Governor General. The scholars are selected on the basis of a series of criteria. Every year, up to 14 bright young minds are invited to Montreal's McGill University for the academic season. During their stay, the students enjoy unlimited access to the University's programmes. As of 2009, the Programme has welcomed 87 Scholars from 44 countries…
