Golden moment for Medal

He's gone from the North Winnipeg Nomads to McGill University, and now Jordan Medal's football career is taking him to Texas. The Winnipeg product, who started every game as a freshman for the McGill Redmen in the fall, was one of two Manitobans named this week to the World Team that will compete against the U.S. in the International Federation of American Football's fourth annual International Bowl on Feb. 5 in Austin. "It feels great," Medal said Wednesday from Montreal. "I truly believe this honour is a reflection of the Redmen football team, because without the great players and coaches around me, none of this is possible."
