Shannon Lockhart is in the final year of a bachelor's degree program at McGill University, where she has been focusing on world religions and biological sciences and is a policy fellow at the McGill Institute for Health and Social Policy. She's interested in health systems in an increasingly connected world and is creating a medical supply collection and redistribution program called Supplying HOPE. One day, she intends to be a doctor. ...Lockhart will be among 1,300 students, drawn from 318 schools in 83 countries, invited to Clinton Global Initiative University. The weekend gathering, held at the University of Miami under the auspices of former United States president Bill Clinton's foundation, aims to engage, inspire and pick the brains of the next generation on such issues as clean water, health care, human rights, sustainable energy and transportation, and access to higher education and technology.
