Canadian Architect - Emeritus professor Radoslav Zuk awarded Ukraine's 2011 state prize for architecture

By presidential decree, the 2011 State Prize of Ukraine for Architecture has been awarded to Radoslav Zuk, Emeritus Professor at the School of Architecture at McGill University.

As leader of the design team, Zuk was awarded the prize for the design of the Church of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos in the city of Lviv. Other members of the team who received the prize were: the director of the firm responsible for contract documentation and administration - Zenon Pidlisny (posthumously), the iconographer Svjatoslav Vladyka, and the parish priest Very Rev. Orest Fredyna.

The only other project awarded the State Prize of Ukraine for Architecture in 2011 was the reconstructed sports complex located in Metallist City, Kharkiv.
