McGill student receives national scholarship

Cynthia Ené, an undergraduate student in the Faculty of Engineering, is the winner of a prestigious scholarship from the Canadian Engineering Memorial Fund. Ené received the honour at the Annual General Meeting of the Canadian Council of Professional Engineers, which was held in Regina, Saskatchewan, on May 13, 2005.

Bärbel Knäuper, a professor in McGill's Department of Psychology, led a team of scientists who discovered that trying to follow a list of special rules or gimmicks is less effective than sticking to a long-term plan of calorie reduction and exercise.
