In memoriam of Professor Winston Purdy

Our community is mourning the loss of esteemed professor Winston Purdy, who recently passed away. A cherished teacher and colleague, Winston was well known and respected throughout the McGill community
for his role in singing the University Anthem, Hail, Alma Mater, at almost every Convocation ceremony since 1999.   Read more here

"la Bourse de carrière Fernard-Lindsay",  a prize valued at $50 000.

In memory of Eleanor Stubley

Our community is mourning the loss of beloved music professor Eleanor Stubley, who died in August.

Eleanor was an accomplished choral conductor and an engaging scholar with a deeply creative spirit. As Associate Dean of Graduate Studies in Music, she was a tireless and innovative advocate for our students.
