You can track the status of your application online using Minerva, McGill’s self-service web-based administrative system.
Once you have applied, you will receive an acknowledgement receipt sent to the e-mail address you have entered on your application. This will contain an identification number and PIN which you can then use to log on to Minerva. On Minerva, you can check the status of your application including the receipt of supporting documents. Letters of recommendation, transcripts and all other supporting documents should be sent directly to the admissions office in the Schulich School of Music..
Please note that during peak periods, there may be a delay between the receipt of a document and the date on which it is recorded in our information system.
Update your mailing and email address
You always have the ability to change your email and postal addresses, no matter where you are in the application process or what status you have, by going to: Minerva > Personal Menu > Addresses and Phones.
The Applicant Menu on Minerva
Minerva's Applicant Menu houses several options that assist students in their application process. Follow these steps to access your applicant options.
- Click the Login to Minerva icon found on the sidebar.
- Log in using your McGill ID and PIN.
- Select the Applicant Menu.
- Select one of the options that are available to you (and are dependant upon your current application status).
