As part of the Conference "Talking About the Lost Generation", 9:30 am - 5:00 pm Saturday, May 19, 2012, Clara Lichtenstein Hall, admission free.

"The Lost Generalion".  Gombert, Jachet, Willaert, de Manchicourt and Michael of Verona were the first composers to use musical gestures to depict dramatic scenes from the Gospels, yet their work remains largely unknown, eclipsed by the generations before and after. This concert, part of a musicological conference, will feature interventions by scholars of international renown, and the public will be welcome to attend lectures on the repertoire earlier in the day.
