François Koh received his Bachelor degree in Classical Guitar and Musicology from Kyung-won University, Korea. His conducting training was furthered in France with Jean-Sebastian Béreau and Pierre Cao. He received an CFEM (Certificat de fin d’etudes Musicales) and a DEM (Diplôme d’études musicales) in orchestral conducting from the Conservatory National de Dijon.  François is also the founder of the “Ensemble Orchestral de Dijon”  chamber orchestra. When he relocated to Vancouver in 2006, he founded and directed the Vancouver Camerata chamber orchestra. He was also director of the Sunshine Coast Concert Band. In 2009 François was the adjudicator for the classical guitar section of the Sunshine Coast music festival. Since 2011, he has studied orchestral conducting under Alexis Hauser at McGill University.
