Recording Project Competition 2012-2013

This competition is open to all students enrolled in the Master of Music inPerformance Program who wish to complete the course MUPG 605 RecordingProject as one of their recital options,  doctoral students, GPPD students,and students in the old MMus program.  Value of award $1000.  This award maybe used in conjunction with the Nikki Yanofsky [Audio Technical Prize9http://www.mcgill.ca/music/current-students/undergraduate/all-students/student-awards].  It is recommended that students team up with McGill soundrecording projects. Interested students should submit detailed proposals to the Music GraduateOffice by February 15, 2013.  The proposal should include a description ofthe artistic theme or vision of the recording, the repertoire through whichthat vision will be realized, an updated CV of recent performances, and twoletters of reference.  Applications will be assessed on the originality andartistic vision of the suggested project, the student's performanceachievements, and their potential to achieve the proposed program at a highlevel.
