Biography: 

Violist Lambert Chen has performed across three continents as chamber musician, orchestra player and soloist.  He has been guest performer at the Montreal Chamber Music Festival, Music and Beyond (Ottawa), and Orford Art Centre, and is currently the violist of Musica Camerata Montreal.  He was a member of the Schulich Quartet and has collaborated with the Trio di Colore and the Cecilia String Quartet. 
Recipient of the 2007 Golden Violin Award, Lambert has gathered prizes and honours at the Sylva Gelber Music Foundation Award, the Primrose International Viola Competition and the OSM Standard Life Competition.
He has been a member of Orchestre symphonique de Montréal since 2009, and is currently instructor at the Schulich School of Music of McGill University where he teaches viola and coaches chamber music.
