Welcome to the Office of Religious and Spiritual Life! (MORSL)

The Office of Religious and Spiritual Life (formerly Chaplaincy Service) is dedicated to raising religious literacy and enhancing spiritual wellness at McGill. We are a student service you can turn to whether you want to connect with others who share your own religious roots or explore new and diverse religious and philosophical frameworks. We have a team of multi-faith chaplains, who are available by appointment, and who host a wide variety of events. Chaplains are also available to offer a listening ear from within particular traditions, and are sworn to confidentiality.

MORSL offers various spiritual, interfaith, and wellness-related programs to enhance your campus experience. We also hire several Work Study students each semester and have tons of volunteer opportunities as well.

Stop by and check out our lounge and meditation room, open to all McGill students who pay student service fees (open weekdays from 10am to 4pm). Drop in to pray, meditate, listen to relaxation CD's, browse the in-house interfaith library, colour a mandala, or catch some happy rays in front of one of our light-therapy lamps. For those who keep kosher and bring a lunch to campus, we have two designated kosher-only microwaves - one meat, one dairy.
