About Nanotools

History

The McGill Nanotools Microfab project was initiated from a CFI grant obtained by a group of researchers at McGill in 2000. Three years later, in 2003, thanks to the excellent work of Vito Logiudice with his team, the Nanotools was inaugurated and opened to users. From 2008 to 2015,  with continuous investment from federal and provincial government, Matthieu Nannini with Nanotools staff further developed and enriched the services, equipment and processes at Nanotools. The Nanotools became the core facility at McGill for Micro- and Nano research, serving more than 120 users and supporting more than100 projects each year.
