Nanotools-MicroFab

The McGill Nanotools Microfab laboratory is a fee-based open access facility. We welcome all research and development initiatives related to nano and microfabrication. Our services and competencies range from basic fabrication services to multistep processes.

MIAM Facilities

MIAM brings together diverse research facilities housed in various departments and faculties at McGill.

These include the Microfab-Nanotools Facility in the Rutherford Physics building and the Characterization Facility which has equipment in Otto-Maass (Chemistry), the Wong Building (Mining and Materials Engineering) as well as the McGill Cancer Center and several other locations.

MIAM News

Looking for a new Academic Associate for the MIAM Nanotools- Microfabrication Facility (MNM).

The MNM is a shared facility serving academic, industrial and government researchers in Micro- and Nano-Technology.

An academic associate will be hired to perform duties in a cleanroom environment.
