Kudos and Congratulations

Contratulations go out to MIAE students Catherine Brière and Farzan Subhani -- winners of prestigious aerospace scholarships.

Catherine Brière (Mechanical Engineering) has won a prestigious American Helicopter Society (AHS) Vertical Flight Foundation (VFF) scholarship for the academic year 2013-2014. Catherine will be on-site to receive the VFF Charles H. Kaman Scholarship at the AHS 69th Annual Forum & Technology Display banquet in the Phoenix Convention Center on May 22nd, in Phoenix, Arizona. As per her letter of notification: "The Selection Committee chose the top applicants in each category to receive awards. Congratulations on being a winner in a highly competitive selection process!"

Farzan Subhani (Mechanical Engineering) has been awarded the 2012-2013 International Society of Transport Aircraft Trading (ISTAT) Annual Scholarship. As per his letter of notification: "The ISTAT Foundation Scholarship Committee found your achievements exemplary, and we are happy to name you as an ISTAT Foundation scholarship recipient. We believe you show great potential as a member of the aviation community and are pleased to assist you in your continuing education."
