Greetings to all!
On behalf of the Management Forum Steering Committee I would like to welcome you to our new website. We will keep it updated so you will au courant of all that will be taking place this year, so check it often. Our goal is to ensure that everything we offer allows our members to expand their network of contacts and at the same time presenting enriching and interesting topics.
The academic year has begun with extra demands and stress imposed on all our members. To help relieve some of these pressures, the popular lunch hour plenary lectures are back, as well as our annual conference which will have a half day or full day format based on the time restraints of our membership.
To help us through the end of winter, Joey Elias will be joining us again to instill an infectious smile on all of us. The end of the academic year will be capped off with a get-together to relive the events of the past year, mingle with the new contacts made and meet those at the top who shape McGill.
The Management Forum steering committee is made up of 10 volunteers from across the various units on campus representing all 1,688 Ms; Regular, Term, Development Assignments and excluded positions on both campuses. We also have with us the past president which allows for a smooth transition. Feel free to contact any of us with your ideas about issues and topics that you feel important to Ms at large or any comments regarding our activities. We are here to represent your needs, and can succeed to a greater extent if you let yourself be heard.
