A celebration of the 50th Anniversary of McGill's Department of Atmsopheric and Oceanic Sciences

On Friday, September 24, 2010, the department of Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences (formerly Meteorology) celebrated its fiftieth anniversary. Alumni, current students, and present and former associates of the department were invited to attend a conference on advances in the admospheric and oceanic sciences at McGill's faculty club. The conference program consisted of invited presentations by former faculty, students and associates. Following the conference, a dinner was served. It was a thoroughtly entertaining and educational day.
