How can I make an appointment?
A team of psychiatrists and psychologists are available by appointment for assessment and treatment of many conditions which may interfere with psychological well-being.
Students suffering from problems with anxiety, depression, problems with sleep, attention, obsessions or concentration, relationship difficulties, eating disorders, severe winter blues, etc., may make an appointment by phone or in person. All contacts are completely confidential.
Who can use the clinic?
The clinic can be used by all registered McGill students who have paid the Student Services fee. This fee is automatically charged to the account of all students other than Post-docs and those registered in Continuing Education. In order to use the clinic, these two groups must present proof that they have paid the fee. The clinic can not be used by McGill staff or research trainees.
I've graduated: can I still use the clinic?
When were you last registered?
- Fall term (September-December) - I can use the clinic until December 31st
- Winter term (January-April) - Can use the clinic until August 31
- Summer term - until August 31st

Student Responsibilities
A McGill ID card and a valid Medical Insurance card (provincial or McGill Blue Cross) are required for each visit. You will be asked to pay cash for your visit if you do not have a card. Due to the significant demand for services, and the cost to Student Services for unused time, a 24 hour notice is absolutely required for cancellations. A $20 fee will be charged if this policy is not respected. A $70 fee will be charged to students who make no attempt to inform the service of their inability to attend an appointment. Payment can be made by either debit, VISA, Mastercard or American Express.
