McGill Med e-News
Updated daily by the Faculty of Medicine Communications Office, this newsletter, offered in English and French, provides news and announcements of interest to the faculty and support staff members, as well as to students and residents of the Schools of Medicine, Nursing, Physical & Occupational Therapy and of Communication Sciences & Disorders. It features information on current topics, breakthroughs and other announcements. All are welcome to share their news and creative initiatives, and comment on various topics.

McGill Journal of Medicine
This peer-reviewed journal, written by the students of the Department of Medicine, is published bi-annually.

In Focus
Published twice a year, this magazine provides announcements and information of interest to the greater Faculty of Medicine community.

Lay Medix
Aiming to demystify medicine, Lay Medix is a journal of articles on medical matters designed for the lay person and written by members of McGill’s Faculty of Medicine.

Rural Education Program Newsletter
This bilingual newsletter is published 3-4 times per year, and is targeted at medical teaching doctors and rotation coordinators at McGill-affiliated rural sites. It features articles on administrative and pedagogical issues regarding the rural education program and articles on financial and educational resources.

The Murmur
The Murmur is a student-run newsletter containing events, announcements, classifieds and items of interest to the Faculty community, published every Sunday.

The Osler Library Newsletter
Published since 1969, the Osler Library Newsletter is a forum to discuss the life and writings of Sir William Osler, and more generally, subjects pertaining to the Osler Library and its collections.

Published twice a year, articles with scholarly content are encouraged and the Newsletter is indexed in PubMed. The complete run of issues is available on-line at: http://www.mcgill.ca/library/library-using/branches/osler-library/oslernews/

The Placebo
The Placebo is a student-run magazine that allows McGill medical students from all years to share their thoughts, experiences and creative endeavours, both medicine-related and not.

School of Communication Sciences and Disorders (SCSD)
Speaking of Language
The SCSD’s newsletter is published twice yearly, and explores advances in speech-language pathology and communication disorders.

School of Nursing
Canadian Journal of Nursing Research
The CJNR is a peer-reviewed, quarterly journal published by School of Nursing. Its primary mandate is to publish original nursing research that develops basic knowledge for the discipline and examines the application of the knowledge in practice.

Alumni Newsletter
The School of Nursing’s Alumni Newsletter is published annually in fall or early winter.

Biomedical Engineering
McGill Biomedica (first edition has yet to be published)
McGill Biomedica is published once per semester by volunteer members of the Biomedical Engineering Students' Society’s Academic Review Committee. It showcases the work of McGill students and raises awareness of ongoing biomedical engineering work at McGill.

Human Genetics
Weekly Bulletin
The Weekly Bulletin aims to improve communication among Human Genetics staff and students, and is normally published every Wednesday.

Anesthesia
Newsline
Chronicling items of interest to faculty, staff, students and alumni within the Department of Anesthesia’s broader community, this newsletter is published annually or biannually.

Cardiology
The Online Journal of Cardiology
The Journal is targeted at health care providers, the lay public and medical students across the world. It includes review articles, case reports, editorials, images, lectures and peer-reviewed articles submitted by the medical community. Patients drive the publication with heart-related questions or related contributions.

General:
Artificial Cells, Blood Substitutes and Biotechnology
Published annually, this international journal focuses on advances in biotechnology.

Geriatrics
Geronto-McGill
Geronto-McGill is the bulletin for the McGill Centre for Studies in Aging, and contains information about the Centre’s contributions to knowledge about the neurodegeneration of the aging central nervous system and neurodegenerative diseases

Transcultural Psychiatry is an international, interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed scientific journal of cultural psychiatry providing a forum for psychiatrists and other mental health practitioners as well as social scientists concerned with the relationship between culture and mental health.
