Selection Criteria
The Office of Admissions, Equity & Diversity of the Faculty of Medicine attends to both academic and non-academic criteria in its evalution of applications to its programs. The academic criteria by applicant category, as well as the kinds of non-academic qualities that competitive applicants are expected to demonstrate.
About the Selection Process
Admission to the Faculty of Medicine is highly competitive. Meeting the eligibility requirements is not a guarantee of admission.
About the Multiple Mini-Interviews
Selected candidates will be invited by the Faculty of Medicine for an on-site interview session. Attendance is by invitation-only, sent via electronic mail by the date published according to the applicant category. Candidates cannot be admitted without an interview. Interviews are an important tool for the Admissions Board to evaluate the non-academic strength of applicants.
