Vikram Bhatt and Rune Kongshaug presented a paper: "Coalasce of beauty and utilty for better cities" exploring historical Western and non-Western precedents of self-sufficient cities that (used to) incorporate UA, exploring how to overcome a recent, maybe accidental division of labour between city and countryside in the production of food. The paper is directed explicitly to architecture audiences present at the conference. Also, Bhatt and Kongshaug hosted a chat and poster session outlining this project, and hosted a luncheon event, and networked with interested parties (architects and potential sponsors) interested in the subject of UA and design.
