The application cycle for the 2013-2014 academic year is closed. The application cycle for fall 2014 will begin in September 2013.

To be considered for The MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program at McGill University, you must first demonstrate academic potential to qualify for admission to the University. In addition, we look for applicants with exceptional records of service and activity in their schools and communities. We will also ask you to demonstrate your potential for meaningful future service to your community as a leader engaged in dynamic local and global social change.

Admission to McGill University

1. You must have an academic record that demonstrates your academic achievement and potential.

Acceptance to The MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program

1. You must demonstrate examples of service and leadership in your school and/or your community.
2. You must be motivated and committed to return to Africa after graduation and continue to give back to your community.
3. We will verify your financial status. Please note that The MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program is offered to economically disadvantaged students from Sub-Saharan Africa.
