Prof. Si Yuzhuo, Doctor’s Tutor and former president of Dalian Maritime University, has been honored with “National Outstanding teacher”, “National model worker in Education System” “Medal of People Teacher” and received special government allowance.
As a main draftsman of Maritime Law of P.R. China, and a member of Transport Law Expert Group of Committee Maritime International (CMI), Mr. Si Yuzhuo has written many books and papers and handled many leading maritime cases in court or arbitrations. Since 2002, as maritime law expert, Prof. Si has led China Official Delegation to participate in relevant conferences in respect of Transport Law of UNCITRAL, he is also a Member of Nomination Committee of CMI since 2008. Si Yuzhuo authored a summary of carriage of goods by sea law for China in Prof. Tetley’s Marine Cargo Claims, 4 Ed., 2008.
