Martin J. Davies is a Professor of Maritime Law and head of the maritime law center at the Faculty of Law of Tulane University, New Orleans, Louisiana, USA. Martin is a graduate of both Oxford and Harvard Universities and has taught maritime law in several countries including Australia and the United Kingdom. He also serves on the Editorial Board of Lloyd's Maritime and Commercial Law Quarterly amongst others, and is the author of numerous publications.
