Over the years practising and teaching maritime law, I have had the benefit to encounter the most astounding and remarkable individuals from around the world. I now wish to pay a special tribute to their achievements in the field of maritime law through this photo gallery with a little information on who they are, where they come from and how I came to know them. In the process, I have requested some of my confreres and friends from the international maritime law community to provide me with pictures of themselves. I encourage others to send me their pictures for the website too!
