CAMPAIGN McGILL: History in the Making
Campaign McGill will enable us to bring together the very best minds – professors, graduate students and undergraduates – and create an environment in which they can thrive. Our fundraising priorities will allow the McGill community to build on its legacy of excellence and achieve its ambitious goals: to advance health, build prosperity, create the next generation of science and technology, protect the environment, and strengthen culture and civil society.
FACULTY PRIORITIES - CAMPAIGN MCGILL
As we approach the end of Campaign McGill this spring, the Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences is on track to achieve and surpass our goal of $18.5M in support of our students and faculty. From undergraduate support to professorships and transformative program funding, thanks to our community of alumni and partners, the Faculty is better positioned than ever to meet the needs of today’s young people. Our broader mission and fundraising activities are outlined in our Faculty Case for Support: Macdonald Campus: Building a Healthier and More Prosperous World.
FACULTY PRIORITIES – OUR SUSTAINABLE FUTURE
Going forward, with a focus on growing and strengthening our Alumni community, funding priorities will shift to ensure that the academic standards remain at the cutting edge, providing our students with the world-class experience they expect while at Macdonald. Here are just a few of these programs and initiatives that will bring the Faculty to the next phase in its development: Macdonald Campus : Going Beyond Tomorrow.
MAKING AN IMPACT
With its tradition of pioneering, interdisciplinary work in applied biosciences, food and nutrition and the environment, coupled with innovative and entrepreneurial programs for the future, McGill’s Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Science (FAES) is finding solutions to some of the most urgent problems shaping the 21st century.
Generous gifts from Alumni, Parents and Friends have helped fund:

- The launch of Macdonald Campus’ own Internship Program
- Establishment of new Fellowships and Scholarships
- Opened McGill’s first Active Learning Lab
- Fund the renovation and opening of the Food Labs
