Gold Key Awards:
The Gold Key Award is given by the Macdonald Branch of the McGill Alumni Association to worthy students in recognition of their outstanding contribution to extra-curricular activities at the Macdonald Campus. Students nominated for the Award must show leadership and excellence in the promotion and development of extra¬curricular activities at Macdonald, to the benefit of the Macdonald community as a whole.

Mastery for Service Award:
Every five years, Macdonald honours an individual who has provided "outstanding contributions to the Macdonald community as demonstrated by a commitment and dedication to the Campus which has added immeasurably to the quality of the institution, its programs and student life".

Keynote Presentation:
The Changing World of Agri-Business
, with guest panelists Professor Karl J. Moore, Associate Professor (Professional), Strategy and Organization, Desautels Faculty of Management; Nicola Urbani, BScAgr’91, MSc’93, PhD’98, VP Commercialization Jewish General Hospital & Executive Chairman Canetique Electrocatalysis Inc.; and Steven Singer, BA’95, Founder and Former CEO of Glutino Foods & currently Founder and CEO Live Love Snack, who will share their ideas on how innovation, new ideas and leadership are emerging in this growing field.


Macdonald only classes are cancelled from 10:00-13:00. A light lunch will be served. Seating is limited to 500; doors will close at 10:05.
