The mission of the Canadian Lymphedema Framework (CLF) is to work to improve the management of lymphedema and related disorders in Canada. Launched on February 6, 2009, this initiative is based on the UK’s International Lymphoedema Framework (ILF) which, since its formation in 2002, has been very successful in raising awareness of lymphedema in the UK. The vision of CLF is that ultimately all persons across Canada will have access to comprehensive, effective treatment for lymphedema and related disorders.
