On April 28, students were given access to their Summer 2012 courses in the new myCourses Learning Management System
The conversion of Fall 2011 courses is also on schedule, and will be open to instructors teaching in Fall 2012 on June 1st. More information about this will follow.
On Monday, May 7, 2012: IT Services will copy all Winter 2012 courses, and begin moving these copies to the new myCourses. This will allow you to access your course materials and structure in the new myCourses for the Winter 2013 semester.
IMPORTANT: After May 7 at 9 am, instructors should not make any changes to Winter 2012 courses. Any changes made after this date will not be carried over to the new LMS.
The introduction of the University’s new myCourses took place on March 1, 2012. Over 125 faculty and staff members braved the snow storm to attend as Provost Anthony Masi and CIO Ghilaine Roquet opened the event. Professors Kenneth Ragan and Carolyn Samuel presented the key features for instructors to get started with the new mycourses and 3rd year student, Elan Weinstock, discussed the benefits from a student perspective. Professor Cynthia Weston, Director of Teaching & Learning, concluded the presentation.
