Reading Groups

McGill's Department of Linguistics regularly organizes informal reading groups on particular areas. All members of Montreal's linguistics community are invited to participate. For up-to-date information, please see the individual pages or announcements on McLing. The department is currently hosting the following reading groups:

  • P* Reading Group (Phonology, Phonetics, Psycholinguistics) - Thursdays 2:00-3:00 in the department lounge

  • Syntax-Phonology Research Group – Alternating Fridays 11:30–1:00 in room 117

  • Agreement Reading Group – Alternating Fridays 11:30–1:00 in room 117

  • Syntax-Semantics Research Group – Non-colloquium Fridays 3:00–4:30 in room 117
