The facility staff are available for assistance on each piece of equipment. Training, advice and general assistance as well as assistance for advanced imaging experiments like FRAP, fluorescence correlation spectroscopy (FCS), live cell imaging and image processing.

- Laser Micro-dissection System: Fully automated non-contact micromanipulation and microdissection of tissue sections and live cells with a high-photon density nitrogen UV laser, which can precisely cut out a selected cells or tissue and catapult isolated cells directly into the cap of a small tube for subsequent evaluation.
