Completely renovated in the summer of 2007 with the assistance of the Students’ Society of McGill University, the Education Library and Curriculum Resources Centre is a bright and welcoming space located on the first floor of the Faculty of Education Building.
There are three major components to the space - the collections, the Curriculum Resources Centre, and an e-zone - offering a range of individual and group study spaces furnished with colourful ottomans, new desks and comfortable chairs.

Collection description
The Education Library collection is focused on the teaching and research concentrations of the Faculty:
- educational administration
- leadership and research
- educational psychology and counselling psychology
- learning and cognition
- kinesiology and physical education
- first nations and Inuit education
- teacher education, elementary and secondary
- teaching specific subjects, i.e. science
- teaching English and French as a second language
- culture and values in education
- music education
- the study of teaching and writing; and
- media and educational technology.
