Marvin Duchow Collection

Collection description

The Marvin Duchow Collection was donated by Marvin Duchow’s family to the Music Library at McGill University after his death in 1979. The cCollection consists of Professor Duchow’s manuscript compositions and correspondence, as well as teaching materials compiled over the course of his long career.

The links provide biographical information, a list of Duchow’s manuscript compositions and a database of his correspondence. Due to privacy and copyright restrictions, the complete database of correspondence (including detailed contents notes) is restricted. Researchers may search the database and retrieve a brief display (author, addressee, year, and document type). Access to the full database is granted, on a case-by-case basis, by Cynthia Leive, Music Librarian.
