Description

COADS Global Marine contains monthly statistical surface marine data covering the world ocean. The data source is the Comprehensive Ocean-Atmosphere Data Set, created by the U.S. National Center for Atmospheric Research.
Data includes the following variables:

• sea surface temperature
• air temperature
• scalar wind
• vector wind
• sea level pressure
• total cloudiness
• specific humidity
• relative humidity

System Requirements

To view and extract tabular records from this CD set, you must use special software which resides on 3.5” floppy. The software can export in a number of formats, including .dbf and .txt.
