Students at the Faculty will mark the launch the second annual edition of the student magazine Contours: Voices of Women in Law on Tuesday, April 8, 2014. This non-profit publication showcases the original written and artistic work, in French and English, of women students and faculty members on the topic of women and the law.

Stop by and pick up a copy to see what your classmates and profs are thinking and writing about.

This new issue focuses on the broad theme of “values” and features an interview with the Honourable Claire L’Heureux-Dubé, retired justice of the Supreme Court of Canada. It also contains 22 other written and artistic contributions by students and faculty, including interviews, personal reflections, art, argumentative articles and journalistic pieces.

Contours is funded entirely by the Dean’s Discretionary Fund for student projects and the Law Students’ Association at the McGill Faculty of Law.

Copies will again be provided free of charge to those attending the launch on a first-come, first-served basis, along with cupcakes and punch! Contours is also published online on our website at www.contours-mcgill.com, with the 2014 version becoming available as of April 8.
