Monday, February 20, 2017 13:00to14:30
Chancellor Day Hall NCDH 312, 3644 rue Peel, Montreal, QC, H3A 1W9, CA

You are cordially invited to the McGill Law Journal’s annual Francophone Conference.  This year's topic will be Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

Join the McGill Law Journal on February 20, 2017, where we will explore the critical legal issues (local, provincial, national, international) which young entrepreneurs are currently facing in Montreal, as well as the challenges and opportunities they represent for lawyers.

Here’s a preview of the discussion:

“Today’s emerging companies are the businesses of tomorrow! Montreal’s entrepreneurial ecosystem is in full expansion with the emergence of multiple companies and the creation of innovation centers. More and more lawyers and firms are adjusting their services and have themselves become innovators by providing services adapted to the needs of emerging companies. Will Montreal be the next Silicon Valley? What role could lawyers play in welcoming and developing innovation in Montreal?”
