1L SLL Series - Part 2:  Everything you always wanted to know about studying Law at McGill, but were afraid to ask (as a CEGEP student)

This session with Professor Sébastien Jodoin aims to provide newly-admitted students from CEGEP with practical information and advice about studying law at McGill and thinking ahead about potential professional and academic endeavours after they graduate from McGill. Topics that will be discussed include: learning and studying strategies, student collaboration, student well-being and resilience, course selection, academic exchanges, letters of reference, internships and summer positions, career planning, and graduate school.

1L SLL Series - Part 4:  Small Group Academic Advising Sessions (by First Year group number)

Fridays in October, 1:00-2:30pm, NCDH 200

In this smaller session, we will discuss how to complete your program in 3, 3.5 or 4 years. Topics will include the Winter optional first year course, summer credits, non-course credits, exchanges, joint degrees, Minors, Majors and the Honours Program in Law.

2L SLL Series - Part 2:  Library Advanced Research Seminar 

Monday, October 6, 1:00-2:30pm, Moot Court

This one-hour and half library seminar is geared as a refresher on the core research tools in Canadian and Quebec Law first introduced in the first-year legal methodology class.  This session will also introduce participants at the legal information sources in foreign and international law available for your assignments in comparative law.
