Summer law programs

The Faculty of Law of McGill University is delighted to offer two summer law programs in partnership with the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (Israel) and the Shantou University Law School (Guangdong Province, China).

2013 McGill / Hebrew University Summer Program in Human Rights

Map of Montreal and New England McGill University's Centre for Human Rights and Legal Pluralism and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem's Minerva Center for Human Rights offer a joint international summer program in human rights. The intensive three-week program is offered annually in August.

The teaching faculty comes from the Faculties of Law at McGill and Hebrew University. Students from the two institutions will receive credit from their home universities for the successfully completed courses. This year, the program takes place in Jerusalem. Students will arrive a few days before the program begins (around July 25) and leave a few days after (around August 15).

2013 McGill / Penn State Summer Program in Arbitration

Map - Pennsylvania (USA) Thanks to a partnership between McGill's Faculty of Law and the Penn State Dickinson School of Law, McGill Law students entering third or fourth year, or who are in a graduate law program, have the opportunity of participating in an intensive six-credit arbitration summer program.

This arbitration program familiarizes U.S. and Canadian law students with the emergent and vital field of international commercial arbitration and promotes transnational understanding of arbitration, administering arbitral institutions, and international treaties that authorize the use of arbitration as a means of dispute resolution.
