Update (Sept 7): The problem with Wordpress images, reported last week, has been resolved. You can now upload images normally.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Original issue: There is a problem using Media Icons with Worpress currently. However, a workaround is available:
- From the left sidebar of the dashboard, click Media.
- Click Add New.
- Click Select Files to browse for an image.
- Once the image has been uploaded, copy the image 'File URL' (i.e.: http://blogs.mcgill.ca/files/2010/09/imagename.jpg). This is the image URL.
- Navigate to the post where you would like to add the image, and click on the HTML title of the post.
- Position the cursor in the editor window where you want to insert image (be sure the HTML tab is selected).
- Click the img button in the editor window menu and paste the image URL in the new window; click OK.
- Enter an image description; click OK.
- Click the Visual tab to preview your image.
- Click Update button on right sidebar.
We apologize for the inconvenience.
