OneDrive cloud file storageCloud file storage for students via OneDrive

McGill students and alumni now have access to 1 TB FREE personal file space on OneDrive, Microsoft’s cloud file storage component of the Office 365 package.

Trend Internet Security 2015Antivirus: Trend Micro Internet Security 2015

The 2015 version of this antivirus software was made available to all McGill students, faculty and staff.


2014 Web Management System (WMS) Upgrade 90% completed

Most of the 600 + websites on McGill's Web Management System have now been upgraded to the Drupal 7 platform. The remaining sites, with customized features, will be upgraded over the coming months.

McGill Faculty and Staff can soon expect to receive the latest suite of MS Office apps, FREE, for use at home and on mobile devices.

Fax over IPFax via XMedius

An environmentally friendly fax solution that saves paper and makes sending and receiving faxes easier than ever. It will be available for faculty & staff in January 2015.

Office 365Microsoft Office 365 email for McGill students

Sometime later this winter/spring, McGill students will have access to MS Office 365 cloud-based email. This offering is free and includes 50 GB of email storage.

IT Security Awareness Training Campaign - Focus on Phishing

IT Services is planning a more active approach to educating the McGill community about the dangers of fraudulent emails and how to avoid them.  Look out for suspicious emails in your Inbox!
