McGill faculty and staff, as well as students and alumni now have access to 1 TB FREE personal file space on OneDrive, Microsoft’s cloud file storage component of the Office 365 package.

McGill Faculty and Staff can now get the latest suite of MS Office apps, FREE, for use at home and on mobile devices.
McGill has issued a new directive to ensure the protection of institutional data when using Cloud services.

Mathematica, from Wolfram Research, is a powerful computational software. It is now available to students from the McGill Software site. Go to www.mcgill.ca/software
What's on the horizon
Fax via XMedius
An environmentally friendly fax solution that saves paper and makes sending and receiving faxes easier than ever. It will be available for faculty & staff in January 2015.
Microsoft Office 365 email for McGill students
Sometime later this year, McGill students will have access to MS Office 365 cloud-based email. This offering is free and includes 50 GB of email storage.
